Five sockets, and what to put in them.
Every Warframe has 5 shard sockets. A shard's colour decides which bonuses it can carry; a Tauforged one gives more of the same. Here is all of it, with what the planner can and cannot compute.
-
crimson Ability and weapon stats 5 bonuses · 2 computed
-
amber Utility — casting, movement, pickups 5 bonuses · 0 computed
-
azure Survivability — health, shields, armour, energy 5 bonuses · 4 computed
-
topaz Blast, Heat and Radiation 4 bonuses · 0 computed
-
violet Electricity, melee critical damage, energy conversion 4 bonuses · 0 computed
-
emerald Toxin and Corrosive 4 bonuses · 0 computed
(Where shards come from)
- Deep Archimedea Silver Rewards Uncommon 17.5%
- Entrati Netracell Coffer (Level 0 - 100) Uncommon 17.5%
- Deep Archimedea Legendary Rewards Uncommon 16.67%
- Temporal Archimedea Silver Rewards Uncommon 15.33%
- Deep Archimedea Gold Rewards Uncommon 13.13%
- Temporal Archimedea Legendary Rewards Rare 9.11%
- The Descendia: Rare Rewards (Steel Path) Rare 7.52%
- Temporal Archimedea Gold Rewards Rare 7.45%
These are for a shard of any colour: what drops does not depend on which colour comes out, so the export records it once against the shard itself. A Tauforged one is the same sources at worse odds.
(What the planner does with them)
6 of the 27 bonuses reach the stat panel. The rest are printed on a build and contribute nothing, because they are conditional or they move a figure this engine does not track — health on a Blast kill, energy on a wall latch. The planner says which on every row rather than leaving you to infer it from numbers that did not move.
A Tauforged shard is worth more, and not always exactly half again: 26 of the 27 bonuses scale by 1.5, but Topaz's health-on-Blast-kill goes 1 → 2. Both figures are stored rather than one derived from the other, which would have been right 26 times and quietly wrong once.
