(Where it sits)

Across the 117 frames in the roster, Nidus Prime sits in the top fifteen per cent for health (6th of 117) and armor (12th of 117).

It is thin on shield (117th of 117) and energy (89th of 117), which is what a build has to answer for.

It ships with 3 polarities already installed, plus Madurai on the aura slot, so that much of the board costs no forma.

(Abilities)

  1. 01

    Virulence 40 energy

Rupture the ground with a damaging fungal growth that steals energy from each enemy it strikes. For every five enemies hit, the Infestation mutates, multiplying its destructive force.

    Augment: Teeming Virulence

  2. 02

    Larva 25 energy Subsumable

Spawn an Infested pod that erupts with tendrils, latches onto nearby enemies and pulls them in. Enemies killed while held have a chance of generating a Mutation stack.

    Augment: Larva Burst

  3. 03

    Parasitic Link 25 energy

Bind to a target with parasitic link. When cast on an ally, both the host and Nidus have their Ability Strength and Weapon Damage increased. Linked enemies take some of the damage inflicted on Nidus.

    Augment: Parasitic Vitality

  4. 04

    Ravenous 3 mutation stacks

Gluttonous maggots swarm nearby enemies, feasting until they are hit with Virulence and burst with Infestation. The maggots benefit from Mutation and each enemy hit adds to the Mutation stack.

    Augment: Insatiable

Costs are base figures, before efficiency.

(Acquisition)

Nidus Prime comes out of Void relics — 26 of them across its 4 parts. It is in the Vault: those relics no longer drop, so the only routes left are a player who already holds them and the occasional unvaulting.

Build time assumes the 3 components build at the same time in separate foundry slots — 12 hours for the slowest, then 3 days for the frame itself. One slot at a time comes to 4 days 12 hours.
